Currently providing exclusive billing for Radiation Oncologists and other specialties, the RTBS team of over 30 certified billing specialists possess in-depth knowledge and a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations, payment policies and trends.
He is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law (J.D. 1988) and Mount Union College, (B.A., 1985). He has been appointed to the President’s Advisory Council of Mount Union College and is a member of the International Franchise Association, Legislative Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and the Ohio State Bar Association. As Vice President of RTBS, Ms. Myers oversees credentialing and verifies that providers are enrolled with Medicare and other insurance carriers. Ms. Myers builds relationships with payors to improve the efficiency of the billing process for RTBS and its clients. Ms. Myers was previously a paralegal for the Medical Malpractice Defense Group of a law firm assisting in the expert review and litigation process. Ms. Myers holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors and a Masters Degree with distinction in guidance and personnel from Northeast Missouri State University as well as ERT Certification from the University of Missouri. Mr. Newbold and Ms. Myers are members of the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA), the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC), the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO). |
